School Policies are written and agreed with the staff and the Governing Body on a regular basis. Some policies are based on Cumbria County Council guidance and updates and information produced by the Department for Education. The Governors operate a clear plan on when policies will be checked and updated but when the need arises, policies can be updated at any time. We will endeavour to ensure that all policies posted on the website will be the most up to date versions.
Some of the acronyms used in policies and their meanings:
